In 2021, A Myth From da Future was founded by Yemi Osokoya, shaped through ongoing conversations with his friend and creative partner Faith Okoh. It emerged from a shared observation that work was being created, moved, and disappeared without proper documentation.
Today, A Myth From da Future spans across editorial, film, and events, building a living archive that connects practices across the continent and the diaspora, enabling continuity, collaboration, and deeper understanding.
AMFDF Editorial & Magazine platform showcases emerging and established creative talents in fashion, performance, and art, challenging culture and reimagining expression. AMFDF positions itself as a creative studio, collaborating with artists, brands, and culture workers to design, produce, direct, and bring visual ideas to life. Its public programs, like TOWNSQUARE, bring creatives together in shared spaces for exchange, dialogue, and performances, reflecting how art and culture are shaped across Africa and its diaspora.
